Floating Loft is a light filled apartment, situated in one of the high-end residential areas in Bucharest. The quality of life brought by the proximity to a forest and the intrinsic silence, guided us into developing a weightless design, meant to be enriched by light.

Living
The 50 sqm main living area is a calm space, decorated with pastel colors, concrete accents and minimal metal accessories. Aside from the armchair, all the furniture is custom designed to maximize the output for the space.
The TV furniture is built from thin sheets of concrete mounted on a metal structure, reaching a common ground between an industrial material and a classy clean finish.
The same material was used for the dining table, which harmonizes under the concrete, the thin metal frame and a nice, calm wood texture. The black metal light fixtures come to contrast and accent the floating nature of this space, pinpointing the main areas.

Kitchen
The open kitchen area features a divider wall, which encases the oven fixtures, and a side-by-side fridge. Thanks to this element, decorated on the living room side with a generous aquarium, the kitchen area becomes an individual and discrete space.
Even though this kitchen design is centered around functionality, having a very neutral color scheme, the space feels very welcoming and relaxing. We achieved this effect by using some accent texture elements, like the natural stone worktop, or the three dimensional ceramic tiles.
Master Bedroom
The master bedroom carries on the atmosphere created for this apartment, combining pastel colors and a minimalist furniture design, in creating a calm, relaxing environment.
Even though this room features more accent elements, it keeps a clean feeling, thanks to the nature of the color scheme and the organic and welcoming shapes.
Like for most of our projects, the bed is custom designed to match the clients needs.

Bathroom
The ceramic tiles used as a décor piece for these bathrooms are inspired by the city of Barcelona, to be more precise, by the works of the great architect Antoni Gaudi.
By their nature, these spaces gain a vibrant atmosphere, engulfed in a calm aura. The chromatic palette invite relaxation, thus creating an interior suited both for starting and ending the day.
