The Fool Club
Stand-up Club Interior Design and Branding
From its opening, in October 2018, the Fool Club became a landmark in Bucharest club scene, and a uncontested leader in the Stand-Up scene.
Situated in a historical building on one of the busiest streets in the old center, this project was a challenge form A to Z.
The interior design project seeked to merge a typical New York loft atmosphere, with defining Stand Up aesthetics. Thus, the interior design became a merger of styles: industrial but private, dominated by exposed brick walls, and accentuated by bold neon signs.
The Branding and Naming project was done in collaboration with our long time partners at Kraftmark.
Because of our close partnership we managed to create a cohesive discourse throughout the project, interior and branding design leaning on another, and working together towards creating a business language that proved to be successful.
The Fool Club truly became a Mecca for comedy and stand-up. Its stage is hosting the biggest names on the stand up scene, but also recurrent open mic nights, roasts and debutant shows.
Expanding on the work we did for the Club, the marketing team behind it took the Fool brand to another level, making it a renowned international name, and expanding it way beyond the Club, to podcasts, festivals, and merchendise.
